Recruit
Targeted recruiting attracts top candidates, maximizing company results
Custom ad and social media campaigns cast the right net
LED FastStart’s approach to job posting goes far beyond the mass marketing, quantity-over-quality approach of sites like Indeed, ZipRecruiter and Monster.com. FastStart’s multifaceted, multiplatform approach to recruiting includes assertively targeting recruits whose experience and attributes are most relevant to the position.
Traditional talent marketing equates a large talent pool with successful recruitment. LED FastStart’s targeted approach recognizes that in today’s workforce market, less can mean more. By refining the candidate field with more targeted talent, LED FastStart helps companies not only acquire qualified workers but increase their chances of retaining them.
BBQ Guys
LED FastStart leveraged its first-class video production capabilities to bring the opportunity to join this Louisiana food startup to life. A landing page was created on an internal LED FastStart Recruiting platform that included compelling photos and video depicting the BBQGuys company culture, stories about the company, and a quick-apply call to action.
LED FastStart’s internal team produced ‘Day In The Life’ video featuring three customer support team members speaking enthusiastically about their experience working at the company, the day-to-day of their jobs, and the type of colleague who would thrive in the open position.
BBQ Guys’ goal of hiring 50 online sales specialists and they were contemplating relocation at the beginning of the project to make it happen. They've exceeded that goal and their company headquarters remains in Baton Rouge.
General Dynamics Information Technology
A cybersecurity company emphasizing hiring current military and military veterans, GDIT teamed with LED FastStart to develop a social media campaign targeted to the military community. GDIT’s specific recruitment strategies were designed to engage military personnel at nearby Barksdale Air Force Base and other Louisiana military installations around the state.
LED FastStart and GDIT also debuted a military blog series featuring current veterans working in Bossier City, where the company is headquartered. In addition, all social media, ads, and blogs linked back to the GDIT military landing page on LED FastStart’s recruitment site, where job seekers applied for open positions.
Gulf Island Fabrication
A shipyard and fabrication facility, Gulf Island set out to replace third-party contracted employees with 106 skilled in-house craftsmen. LED FastStart evaluated and devised a specialized recruitment plan that helped build a pipeline of local talent.
The recruitment undertakings included a company news release, an LED Fast Start Recruiting landing page, a company blog post, social media postings, two in-person job fairs, a virtual job fair, a recruitment video, targeted searches, a job information questionnaire and a job fair presentation.
LED FastStart assisted Gulf Island in reaching and exceeding their shipyard hiring needs as 144 candidates attended the two in-person career fairs, 34 jobs were offered and accepted at the events, and multiple second interviews were scheduled.
Westfield Fluid Controls
In need of a qualified talent pool to fill several available positions, Westfield Fluid Controls teamed with LED FastStart to concentrate on acquiring 16 new hires for seven highly specialized and challenging job positions.
The resulting marketing assets create a picture of what it entails to hold each of the seven skilled positions and show the level of skill required for each job to improve the candidate pool. In addition, the assets explicitly tell job seekers precisely what it takes to be successful with Westfield, which improves the quality of the candidate pool by helping potential applicants accurately self-assess their qualifications before they apply.
