LED FastStart delivers highly customized training and training materials
Mission-critical assets built specifically for each company without a ‘one size fits all’ approach
In addition to helping companies target the right job candidates, LED FastStart helps them equip new and existing employees with custom training that ranges from virtual training to traditional instructor-led training.
Every company’s challenge is unique. The LED FastStart team dives deep into the culture of each, ensuring that no two training strategies are the same, as evidenced by this sampling of LED FastStart training partners:
Elmer Chocolate
In need of enhancing supervisory skills in performance coaching, motivation, accountability, and expectations, Elmer Chocolate turned to LED FastStart.
The team developed a custom performance and evaluations training module. “The content of the training material was aligned with our expectations, logically sequenced, and all attendees were able to follow,” Human Resources Director Ellen Bies said. “The ‘hands-on’ practice scenarios and tips on how to apply the skills learned in real work situations were extremely helpful for the group.”
Fuji Vegetable Oil
Fuji Oil requested LED FastStart’s assistance quickly preparing candidates to fill operator positions. Job functions included following SOPs, reading measurements, product weighing, and completing accurate paperwork.
LED FastStart’s innovative solution was to establish a foundation for training during recruitment. It integrated into the recruiting workflow a custom pre-hire assessment that included a classroom component, familiarizing candidates on appropriate PPE, reading and following documented instructions, weighing equipment and materials handling, measurement recording, and the packing and shipping process. FastStart gave the companies a head start when their operators came to work on Day One.
Lube Tech
As Lube Tech began operations in Shreveport, it was challenged with training new employees on the specifics of its new filling line that was being installed.
LED FastStart provided a practical solution, a Fill Line Playbook. By using this on-the-job training guide, new employees were able to quickly become familiarized with the equipment’s functions.
Netchex
A payroll management company, Netchex expressed the need for managers to develop a structured way to provide employees feedback, clear expectations, specific development goals and foster accountability.
To secure better management results, the LED FastStart team developed a custom Performance Management Skills Development module, structured on a blended approach for performance development through instructor-led skills application workshops and webinar training.
TCI Packaging
TCI Packaging was concerned with the high turnover rate in the facility's production area. The company also faced challenges with employees lacking an understanding of their functions within the overall packaging process.
To get TCI back on track, an LED FastStart Project Manager and Video Producer worked with company representatives to analyze needs and develop solutions. Together they developed an onboarding process video that accurately illustrated specific jobs within the facility while also providing a high-level overview of the entire packaging process. “This video was a game-changer in the onboarding process,” a company representative said.
